My favorite hobby is… Hiking/mountaineering

I love… Chocolate, coffee with tons of chocolate creamer, oh yeah and my wife ?

I look up to… the sky, because you know, it’s there.

Jackson Pollock’s “Convergence” speaks to me because… I’ve always been fan abstract art and Jackson Pollock’s art is the epitome of just that. That lacking any clear understanding of form or function but rather an expression of passion, and freedom that steers clear from any sort of social realism has always been fascinating. Our minds always try to make sense of art forcing us to find shapes and patterns to explain why it looks the way it does. But just understanding, that energy, and passion to create what our minds can’t make sense of can be a great source of comfort and relieve the crazy world we live in.

A funny and/or embarrassing memory of me is…. Not that long ago, my wife and I were traveling and a tradition that we have before any long trip is to make a stop at Starbucks. My favorite type of coffee is when I taste the flavor of the creamer and not really that of the coffee itself. I’m sorry, true coffee enthusiasts, it is what it is. A friend of mine one time told me that the best drink he ever had from Starbucks was a White Chocolate Cinnamon Dolce Latte. For whatever reason, that drink came to mind when it was our turn to order and so I ordered it. The barista looked me straight in the eyes after I placed my order and said, ‘Oh so you want a Diva drink.’ My wife has never let me live down that moment.

I’m afraid of… I’m not really sure. I’ve run across many a situation that have been uncomfortable, but nothing so far as to say I’m afraid of.

My favorite movie is… Emperor’s New Groove.

My coworkers would describe me as… the guy that keeps bugging them about getting their projects completed.

My guilty pleasure is… Crème brûlée.

Some activities on my bucket list are… traveling to Germany, skydiving, bungee jumping, visiting every state in the U.S.A.

My best friend… yep, I’m going to be that person. My ‘best friend’ is my 11-year-old German Shepherd, JT. She’s been with me through the thick and thin.

An accomplishment I’m proud of… working with my Uncle to restore a 1974 Corvette Stingray.

My favorite book is…. The Satan Bug by Alistair MacLean.
